At the Ashton Central Mosque all the Madrasah classes are located beneath the community centre to allow congregants to worship and contemplate in peace.

All class rooms are fitted with smart boards and projectors as well as tables and chairs for both students and teachers

The Madrasah aims to remove the discrepancy between secular and religious education by proving a coherent and wholesome approach to the Islamic way of life. This is achieved by modern methods of pedagogy, clear targets and active engagement with students and parents.

Currently we have 14 daily classes running throughout the week; these cater for the basic Arabic alphabet, recitation of the Qur’an, understanding Fiqh, Aqidah and Islamic sciences. We also cater for students who are unable to attend during the weekd with weekend classes.

The Ashton Central Mosque also has a separate dedicated Hifz class in the morning after Fajr and after Madrasah classes.

Class sizes are gender segregated and do not exceed 15 students, they run for 1 hour and 15 minutes each to ensure active student interaction, engagement and learning.
