During the most difficult times, our mosque provides comprehensive funeral services in accordance with Islamic traditions. Our modern mortuary is equipped with 3 refrigerator spaces and full washing and shrouding facilities.

Services Provided
- Ghusl: Ritual washing of the deceased by trained volunteers
- Kafn: Provision of shrouding materials (pre-cut male/female shrouds stocked)
- Janazah Prayer: In the car park (good weather) or community centre (bad weather)
- Burial Arrangements: Coordination with local cemeteries
- Khatams & Condolence Gatherings: Facilities available for gatherings
- Annual Remembrance: Support for ongoing remembrance

What should I do when someone passes away?
Contact our 24-hour funeral line immediately (numbers above). We will guide you through every step of the process, from washing and shrouding to burial arrangements.
Are there any costs involved?
The mosque provides Ghusl, Kafn, and Janazah prayer services free of charge as a community service. Cemetery and burial costs are separate and arranged with the local authority.
Can family members participate in the Ghusl?
Yes, close family members of the same gender are welcome to assist in or observe the Ghusl process. Our trained volunteers will guide you through the procedure.
Where does the Janazah prayer take place?
Janazah prayers are held in the mosque car park during good weather, or in the community centre during bad weather. Times are announced to the congregation.
Do you arrange burials at weekends and bank holidays?
Yes — we have arrangements in place for weekend and bank holiday burials. Please contact our funeral team for details.
